Our Outstanding Achievements
Some of the 2005 achievements in sport include:
Reach for the Stars’ gymnastic competition
One student: 1st in teams, 1st overall, 1st in beam, 1st in floor, 2nd in bars, 3rd in vault
Second student: 1st in teams, 2nd overall, 1st in bars, 2nd in vault, 4th in beam, 5th on floor),
Third student: 1st in teams, 3rd overall
Other sports
Cricket
- A student selected in Sydney North cricket team
Beach Volleyball
- A student who won U/17 Australian beach volleyball junior title
- Another student who came 3rd in U/17 Australian beach volleyball junior title and was selected in National Youth team
- A third student won U/19 Australian beach volleyball junior title and was selected in National Youth team and Australian Open indoor volleyball team,
Water Polo
- A student selected as captain NSW U/16 water polo team
Softball
- Two students- selected in NSW CHS softball team
Gymnastics
- Commonwealth medalist in 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth games. Also 2nd overall in rhythmic gymnastic championships, selected in Senior Elite team, selected in Open Australian team, 1st in trials for World Championships
- Three students selected to represent NSW in Level 7 at Women’s Artistic Gymnastics National Championships
- A student selected to represent NSW in Level 8 at Women’s Artistic Gymnastics National Championships
- Three students 1st in teams event at National Artistic Gymnastics Clubs competition
Soccer
- a student selected in U/20 Australian soccer squad (Young Matilda’s Squad) - then selected for World Cup trials in Asia in 2006
Swimming
- 12 years swimming relay team 3rd at NSW CHS championships
- 2nd in 14 years 100m freestyle at NSW CHS Swimming Championships
Karate
- A student 2nd in Kata and 2nd in Kumite at National Karate Championships
Netball
- Two students selected in NSW CHS U/16 netball team
Showjumping
- 2nd in NSW CHS showjumping for Years 7 & 8
